FANTASTIC Getaway!

I stayed for several nights and REALLY enjoyed the premises. New owners clearly care. Breakfast was AMAZING, with fresh ingredients and great variety every morning. I spent time by the pool and it was awesome.. Very clean and the perfect temperature for a refreshing swim.
The stairs were a bit steep and there was no lift. This made carrying luggage a little difficult.

The room was spacious and clean. It had a lovely sea view from the window, a REALLY nice surprise. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was super clean, with fresh towels provided daily.

I appreciated the family rooms. They were spacious. the large bathroom included a bath, suitable. lots of free parking spaces were available. garden seating was surrounded by greenery.
my room had a slight bad smell coming from the sink drain. i also found i could not get cold water out of the cold tap. there were broken and missing fence panels. the rest area around the pool was very tatty.

i enjoyed my stay SO MUCH. i had requested the staff decorate the room with balloons for a birthday, and they arranged it before i got there, a wonderful surprise! the hotel is close to both the town center and the beach, i found the location really convenient. parking was ample too, always a plus!
the hallways could use a bit more vacuuming.

breakfast had many options and was delicious, the staff were helpful. the breakfast room offers a LOVELY view. i really recommend trying the full English breakfast, it set me up for the day.
